A good beginning for the second half of the year

Today was a beautiful day in San Francisco, great weather, sunshine and no fog!
I parked near the east entrance of the golden gate park and waked around the haight-ashbury district, which is known for its hippie/bohemian ambience. Some of the things you can find here are: 70's hippies and new ones, vintage and crazy stores, graffitis, bars, cafes, etc.

Then I walked to Alamo square, it's a park where you get a great view of the city and you see some of the victorian houses that appear in most of the SF post cards, known as the "painted ladies". I stayed there for a while, took some photos, read with my new kindle and then walked back to the golden gate park to get my car and went back home.
